meet the coziest little italian restaurant in the west village that even has its own rooftop farm:

italian...twinkling lights...already in love...

we started with a yummy bottle of multipuciano. {p.s. all bottles of wine are $40!}

then we had the caprese foccacia (amaaaaze) and three of the "verdure" - the cabbages/pecorino/chilis/almonds, beets/dandelion/hazelnuts, and the chickpeas and smoked onions. the cabbage was my favorite.

then we all had the fresh, homemade pasta.
i had the linguine with preserved lemon, pickled chili and parmigiano.

caroline had the bucatini pesto rosso.

and blair had the orecchiette with broccoli rabe and homemade sausage.

and of course we had to order the roasted brussel sprouts.

then they brought the dessert menu, and the last thing we wanted to do was go back out into the cold...

so we ordered some more wine and the olive oil cake.

best decision ever. it was moist and lovely with fresh, juicy, crunchy blueberries on top.

they don't take reservations, but its worth every bit of the wait.
